In the Caribbean, St. Lucia Holidays Are the Perfect Honeymoon Destination
Before the wedding me and my husband had never gone on St Lucia holidays and had never even given thought to our honeymoon destination. When my husband and I were preparing to get married and coordinating all of the details a big wedding entails, I handled almost all of the work. I chose the church, the reception hall, the food and just about everything else.
I did ask my husband for his input, but he was content to take the backseat and let me do all the work, in a way I preferred this because it gave me the freedom to plan for everything exactly as I wanted with no “buts” or “ifs”.
Since I was busy with a lot of other details, what I did ask of him was to plan the honeymoon for us. I was a little worried about what he would select, but I couldn’t have been happier with the end result; he had planned to whisk us off to St. Lucia.
As it turned out St Lucia holidays are incredibly relaxing and beautiful. We stayed in an amazingly romantic resort and spent our days at the spa, indulging in couples’ massage and bathing in the beautiful blue waters.
When we were not enjoying long strolls in the beach or taking in the gorgeous sunsets, we went to explore the lush vegetation surrounding the resort and were able to take in all of St Lucia’s pristine beauty. We were lucky enough to stay for ten days, and we can’t wait to go back someday. Whenever anyone asks where I went, I give them a ringing endorsement of St. Lucia?
