The family room or the living room is the area where most people congregate, besides the dining room. In some houses, both of these rooms are the same, so you’re bound to be getting a lot of traffic in there. Adding a bay window will give people the opportunity to sit back, relax, and take the time to view the roses, if not smell them. First of all, while it might look great in the planning stages to have nice sheer curtains over your windows; these don’t do anything for privacy or for keeping the sun out. Block out curtains are great for this, because they are designed to literally block out the sun. The opaque fabric isn’t always a dark colour, so they won’t wreck your decor, but they will add extra comfort and peace of mind.
